I challenge everyone to stop believing that the COVID-15 is inevitable. Since we’ve started “sheltering in place” I’ve lost 10-12lbs; and I’m barely leaving my desk, much less my house.
I’m finding it easier to eat well, and to keep my portions and cheat meals under control. I’m exercising will-power precisely once a week – in the grocery store. If you don’t bring it into the house, you can’t eat it.
I’m also planning when my cheat meals will be, and since the last thing I want to do is waste food in the middle of a global supply chain strain; I’m not skipping the meals I’ve prepared to eat delivery instead.
Keeping to – or building – healthy habits such as planning your grocery lists, meal-prep’ing, and making good choices will pay dividends now, and whenever we all finally get to go outside again.
